On the Vogue website, you are immediately greeted with a large logo on the top of the screen in the centre. The font is the same as they use in all of their magazines; this creates brand identity for them. Underneath the logo there is a contents section which includes topics such as fashion, beauty, and runways. This solidifies their identity of being a style and fashion magazine which also allows the audience to gain an understanding of the magazine's content. You are then greeted with some exclusive content that is stuck behind a paywall. The magazine also includes that a celebrity is featured in this edition to entice the audience to pay for it even more. A selection of cover lines has been chosen for the front page of the website, and it is clear which one is the main cover line as it is double the size of the others. All of the photos that are used for cover lines have very neutral colour schemes or little colour in them at all. This gives the magazine a very professional look which will agree which there cliental who are style conscious middle to upper class females. The font type and colours stay consistent throughout the website; however, the sizes will differ depending on the importance of the text. The largest text is used for the masthead because the brand's identity is the most important thing for Vogue. The main cover line also has a large font size as it is the main story that Vogue believes its audience will want to read. Then the other cover lines include a smaller sized text to show that they are less important stories. The target audience for Vogue magazine is women in there 30’s who are middle- or upper-class people.
